San Francisco 49ers linebacker, Aldon Smith, was arrested for a 'false report of a bomb' at the Los Angeles airport around 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say Smith started acting belligerent when he was randomly selected for a secondary security check while passing through a security line at Terminal 1. Smith was reportedly being uncooperative and next said something to the TSA agent that suggested that he might be carrying a bomb.

Smith was overheard saying 'I did nothing wrong' as he was taken away and detained by airport police. Smith was charged with 'false report of a bomb' which carries a penalty of up to a year in jail. He was released on $20,000 bail.

Smith has previously been arrested on DUI charges and three felony counts of illegal possession of an assault weapon.
