Four people were arrested after Spanish police seized 2.5 tons of cocaine hidden in a shipment of pineapples on April 30.

According to Spanish online newspaper El Confidencial, the traffickers packed around 2,515 kg of cocaine into a container full of pineapples that was shipped from Costa Rica to the Spanish port of Algeciras.

Spain's Civil Guard located the container upon arrival, but allowed the drug to be transported to Madrid's municipal district of Valdemoro.

In the meantime police tailed the traffickers, after the shipment arrived in Valdemoro arrested four people.

According to El Confidencial, the seized cocaine would have had a street value of €150 million ($210 million).
