Video Discription: The Vespa Elettrica e-scooter was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. The Vespa Elettrica was first unveiled at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy, and the scooter has now made its India debut. It's the first time Piaggio has showcased an electric two-wheeler in the country.

The Vespa Elettrica is equipped with an electric motor producing a continuous power output of 2.6bhp and a peak power of 5.2bhp. The electric motor draws power from a 4.2 kWh Lithium-ion battery with 1,000 charging cycles. Piaggio states that the Elettrica e-scooter delivers a superior performance which is equal to a 50cc scooter, especially with the initial acceleration.
