Formed as a girl-duo named "Da Hush Girls"
in November 2005 by Monique "Chase" Jamison
(16) and Shantel "Rose" Roseland (16); "Hush"
has made some major changes. This all Washington,
DC native teen girl group is on the rise with their
sultry style.
In
March 2006 Alzater "Al-Baby" Acee (formerly
of Young Crowd) joined the duo making it a trio which
changed its name to "Hush". As the three
girls began their journey together by recording the
self-titled demo track "Hush"; Acee's fellow
nixed group mate Tranica "Babee Phat" Ford
(formerly of Young Crowd) joined "Hush"
after she was booted from their former band (Young
Crowd) in late- March 2006.
So
far "Hush" has managed to sign to a Major
Recording Label in their hometown "Metro-Storm
Music Group" which formerly hosted Acee's (15)
& Ford's (15) former band in which Acee was a
original member.
The
teen R&B quartette are currently performing on
the District of Columbia club scene as they record
their Summer 2006 Mix-Tape dropping September 19,
2006 just one week after Young Crowd's "REVAMPED"
is in stores everywhere. Hush's debut single "Can't
Wait 4 U" releases July 2006 across the USA.
