The Trump administration said the talks were productive and announced the delay of some tariffs on Chinese electronics and toys for the holiday shopping season. But, the U.S. is expected to move forward with 10% tariffs on other goods on September first. China said it’s fully prepared to respond and is suspending purchases of U.S. agricultural products.
